As Mystique and the two guards with her finish
with the second floor rooms, with no luck, they hear a
commotion coming from the floor above. They race to the
stairs and climb them 2 at a time. As they reach the
third floor they see the other two squads flowing out
of several of the doors.
Them Myst hears the
sounds coming from one of the rooms at the far end of
the hall. She sees the door is open and she gives the
signal for them to go in. Makeri nods and posts 4
soldiers in the hall to watch for more guards, and the
rest follow Myst into the room.
Just as
Mystique enters she realizes she is behind two of the
guards who are about to attack Soul. She brings her
blade up and swings it across taking the head from one
of the guards. Her blade clashes with a very
familiar looking Sabre as the two blades meet inbetween
the two soldiers. As Soul removed the head of the
other guard. She looks at him and smiles
lightly.
Soul lowers his blade after the clash, in obvious
pain. The two guards are dead and the woman pinned to
the wall was still alive. Mystique then saw Sabre
laying on the bed bound naked. Cuts and bruises all over
her. And one very nasty deep one just below her navel.
She rushed over and pulled her dagger cutting away
the bindings. She then resheathed her sword and
dagger and proceded to wrap Sabre in the bed linens.
Makeri then moved over and slit the woman's throat who
was pinned to the wall. After she went to Soul and
helped him to his feet and out the door. Myst picked up
Sabre and put her over her shoulder and carried her out
the door.
They made it down to the first
floor and met up with the rest of the platoon. One of
the soldiers was draging a very hideously scarred man
behind him. "Look at what I found trying to
escape."
Soul looks up slowly at the man, his sabre still in
his hand. "I would kill you now, but I have special
plans for you." he says to him. He looks to the
soldier, "Bring him with us, I want him alive. For
now..."
Just then a very crazed Adexan comes running down the
hall, his hair onfire. Myst looks at him and holds up
her hand. "STOP...ADEXAN!!! Before you set us all on
fire." She then looks and sees he has been a very busy
young man. Most of the downstairs is ablaze cept for
the way to the back door. "Out the back..lets go. And
Adexan, please do continue to burn this house down to the
ground. Not I, nor Lord MacKermak, want any evidence of
this place left behind." She says with a very loud
angry tone.
Adexan's eyes seem to brighten at
those instructions.
Myst and the rest help Soul
and Sabre out the back while they leave Adexan to
burn the place down.
